These photos here are from my first visit to the cemetery.


This is the monument that was put in the cemetery for the ones that died in the Wood River massacre. Six of them were buried in three different graves. They laid boards beneath them , beside and on top because there was no one to build coffins for them. The youngest Reagan, which would be Timothy died a couple days later. The grave markers beloware the grave markers of William and Elizabeth Jones. William was the minister of the First baptist chuch that once stood next to this cemetery. Elder Jones was also a captain of his company in the war of 1812.
