Bethalto, Ill Preuitt Graveyard
This is the Preuitt cemetery that is also on the Airports property. It is not a large cemetery and it is surrounded by a concrete wall with a iron gate. There use to be a big white farm house behind the cemetery. When I was about 8 years old I went to a Halloween party there.They were not Preuitts will at least that was not their last name they might of been related. There was also a big tree either in the cemetery or right outside it when I was a girl, it was kind of scary. There was a story that if you sat on one end of the wall and someone else sat on the other end and they talked to you it would sound like they were next to you talking, so much for the ghost stories. This is a very nice little grave yard and well taken care of.
